The pavilion of the Republic of Abkhazia opened at the 63-rd Damascus International Fair. The pavilion is designed in a style of reflecting the culture, traditions, and natural heritage of the Republic of Abkhazia. The design incorporates national symbols and recognizable elements of Abkhazian architecture and culture, emphasizing the country's distinctive character.

The exhibition features samples of products from Abkhazian manufacturers, as well as informational materials about the tourism and economic potential of the Republic of Abkhazia.

Photographs of picturesque locations, introducing visitors to Abkhazia's natural wealth, occupy a special place.
Performances by Abkhazian artists were an important part of the program.

The delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia included Honored Artists of the Republic of Abkhazia Sharakh Abgadzhava and Dmitry Torchua, as well as artists from the V.M. Tsargush State Song and Dance Ensemble: Lana Chanba, Miranda Bartsits, Aslan Gvaramia, and Levarsa Kharazia.

The performance of traditional songs and dances generated great interest among fair participants and guests, becoming a prominent part of the cultural program.

For many fair participants and guests, the Abkhaz pavilion provided an opportunity to become better acquainted with the culture, traditions, and products of the Republic of Abkhazia for the first time.

The Abkhaz pavilion will remain open throughout the 63-rd Damascus International Fair—from August 26 to September 4, 2026 On the second day of the fair, meetings are scheduled between the Abkhaz delegation and representatives of relevant agencies of the Syrian Arab Republic, as well as delegations from countries represented at the fair.
