A delegation from the Republic of Abkhazia, led by Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, visited the pavilion of the Ministry of Finance of the Syrian Arab Republic.

The event was attended by Said Gubaz, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Abkhazia; Daur Kove, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Abkhazia; Irakli Tuzhba, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia; and other members of the delegation.

During the visit, representatives of the Syrian side introduced the Abkhaz delegation to the pavilion's exhibits, presenting the main areas of activity of the Ministry of Finance of the Syrian Arab Republic.

A substantive exchange of views on the development of bilateral cooperation took place. Saiid Gubaz, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Abkhazia, held a detailed discussion with his Syrian counterparts. The discussion focused on promising areas of cooperation in the financial and banking sectors, as well as opportunities for further development of practical interaction.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in maintaining of contacts and exploring of new areas of cooperation of mutual interest.
